Short Term Medical Plans

Short Term Medical (STM) Plans are the perfect solution for people between
jobs, newly hired waiting to complete a probation period, college age and
new graduates, and part-time workers. These plans can also help bridge the
time until you reach Medicare age if you retire early. Compared to
Individual or Group coverage, these plans are less expensive. They
generally aren’t as good as permanent coverage but certainly provide
catastrophic coverage so you are not without protection.

The downside is that these plans do not cover pre-existing conditions, but
they do cover everything else in the medical book.
I use about four different carriers for different situations.
