Dental Plans
Dental Plans
Dental Plans come as stand-alone plans or as optional coverage to be added
at the same time you take your health insurance plan.
I have several excellent carriers with a variety of plans available. I
normally don’t recommend dental plans unless you just have the kind of teeth
that need additional work above cleanings each year. Then it pays off
nicely. Otherwise, I would say save your money and when you need something
major take a bag of gold to your dentist and make a deal for his/her
services. Most dental plans have a built-in wait period of one sort or
another which prevents you from maximizing benefits right away.
